Dorsey Owens Wiley, Jr., departed this life on February 5 at his home in WinstonSalem, NC. He was born May 6, 1943 in Danville, Virginia.
After graduating from Caswell County High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served his country during the Vietnam era, working as a flight mechanic. Once his tour of duty was over, Dorsey returned to N.C.

Mr. Dorsey Owens Wiley Jr. was a family man who loved and cherished his daughters, Tanya Wiley-Brown and Zoi Dionne Wiley, his granddaughter, Taliyah Ziona Brown, his son-in-law, Dorrel Brown, and his siblings. He will be missed by family, friends and everyone that he has touched over the years.
A father – daughter bond is one that is special and unequivocally cannot be broken; not even when death comes. Remember this Tanya, when you feel yourself missing your father – just think on those beautiful memories.
